I checked out that GI Fuzz review and I think im sold. This Fuzz War sounds good, but for the same price the GI Fuzz has a lot more knobs for endless fuzzy tweeking. its a touch pick because this Fuzz War really sounds great. Maybe I should get both, LOL !! any advice?

I own a bunch of fuzz boxes including a Supersonic Fuzz Gun… which by the way is barely usable aside from anarchic soundscapes and square wave chaos. For something with tons of usable fuzz tones check out MI Audio’s GI Fuzz. The name is stupid, it doesn’t really look cool, but it’s got a million tones and most of them sound great.

i just bought one. it rocks. i play it through my marshall jcm 800 lead series halfstack and through my jazzmaster. it sounds huge. one of the biggest fuzz pedals ive ever played. i also own the metal muff. the metal muff has more of a classic rock sound ac/dc guns n roses style but the boost can send you into shred heaven. its more versitile, but theres more FUZZ in the fuzz war. I HAVE SPOKEN!!!

This pedal is great …
This pedal is great. Ive had it for about a week. It has a good all around but extremely aggressive fuzz sound. It sounds great with single coils. Id like to hear P90s or Gretsch Dynasonics.
